I designed the artwork for an up-and-coming metal band from North Carolina, Valleys. I designed 3 shirts, as well as cover art that reflects the band's message of perseverance and hope.The band lost their original vocalist, a good friend of mine, in a horrific car accident. The cover art depicts a what appears to be a dying tree, but with 5 leaves remaining on a branch, and one leaf falling to the ground. The art symbolizes the band's determination and perseverance through life's many trials and tribulations to continue Mikey's goals and vision for the band. I incorporated the Metatron's Cube to symbolize the continuance of hopeful energy, but personalized it a little more. I placed the silhouette of a sprocket over the Metatrons Cube. The sprocket was one of the only pieces recovered from the car accident.
